Part 4

2002 Crawford received an invitation from the colonsay Art Trust to document the tiny inner Hebridean island during the month of May.


This project is to try and raised the profile of Colonsay and encourage more people to visit Scotland. Six other artists from London and Spain were involved, Crawford was the first Scotish painter to be invited. Resulting in an exhibition, "Images from an Island", Denmark House, London.

Concluding 2002 December 2002 "Images of A Nation" solo exhibition in the Royal Glasgow Institute's John D Kelly Gallery.

2003 began with a joint exhibition at the New Grafton Gallery, London in spring.

In june 2003 Crawford was invited to demonstrate and exhibit her work of Scotland at Gleneagles Hotel, Perthshire.
This was staged for Exxon Mobile, many of the paintings were taken to major collections in the United States. Next
